Case Study: A350 ETRAC


Electronic Thrust Reverse Activation Controller for the A350– was the tertiary system to enable thrust reversers on ground, behind primary/secondary hydraulic controllers.

In support of the clients certification requirement, A full detailed design was produced for an implementation on 2 ProASIC3 FPGAs. Verification was undertaken to review and approve all Code, Documents, requirements and bi directional traceability to DO-254 DAL C including interfacing directly with the clients offshore outsource company to ensure all non-conformities were resolved and closed, with almost all documentation and traceability being captured in DOORS.
